Although the core business of Gas Engine Engine is Natural and Biogas engines, we have a variety of Used Gas Turbines and Used Steam Turbines for sale. These can range in size from 1 to 2 MW up to 26MW. Turbines are an efficient way of producing electrical energy as well using waste thermal energy. Popular makes of Used Gas and Steam Turbines include Siemens, MAN, Kawasaki, Turbogas, GE Power (GE Vernova), Mitsubishi and Doosan.

Used Gas Turbines

Gas Engine Exchange provides used and zero-hour Gas Turbines. Gas turbines work by burning fuel, such as natural gas, to produce gases. These gases pass through a turbine that is connected to a generator, which converts the mechanical energy into electrical energy. Gas turbines are often used in peaking power plants or in combined-cycle systems where the hot exhaust gases are reused to improve efficiency.

Used Steam Turbines

Gas Engine Exchange also has used steam turbines available for sale. These turbines work by using steam produced from boiling water, which is heated using fuel such as natural gas, or other methods of fuel.
